Dear Member,

Please let me introduce myself. I am
Steve Freeman the newly elected Regional Director. My involvement with Arabian
horses began in 1989 and today my wife and I have 10 horses from National level
show horse to our beloved brood mares. We breed one foal a year and have had
the great fortune of breeding a few National Champions and some great breeding
animals. I have competed as an amateur at all show levels in halter and western
pleasure. I have been attending Region 3 meetings for close to 20 years. I have
been a Board member, President, Barn manager and Show manager for AHANC.
I would like to invite you to attend our Mini
Convention at the Courtyard by Marriott in Vacaville, CA.
This event is open to all Region 3 members and I would encourage you to attend.
I have included the meeting schedule in this message. The committee meetings
will cover some interesting areas of concern to our members. I am please to
announce that the AHA EVP Glen Petty will be attending. I have asked him to
speak about the happenings at AHA and take questions. I believe you will find
him to be a personable and dynamic. His involvement in the horse industry is
extensive from managing shows to his leadership position at AHA. He is scheduled
after lunch and if you would like to have lunch please RSVP to Pam Bingham our
Regional Vice-Director.
